Apple is reportedly planning to install a software on American iPhones that will scan the device for child abuse imagery. The company detailed its proposed system, known as "neuralMatch", to some US academics earlier this week, Financial Times reported. The automated system would proactively alert a team of human reviewers if it believes illegal imagery is detected, the report stated.
