Dutch startup TechTics has created a prototype of a robot that can help clean up cigarette butts on beaches. The robot, dubbed 'BeachBot', can spot cigarette butts, pluck them out of the sand, and dispose of them in a safe bin. It uses AI to learn how to better find cigarette butts, even if they are partially buried in sand.
